SmartFiber is specialized in the delivery of network services & cloud voice. Our VoIP White Glove Service includes the physical placement of phones in your local area network, management of number porting, configuration of Voice Portal (Auto-Receptionists, Hunt-Groups, Time of day call routing), and administrative training to any/all interested parties.
Step 1: Order Verification
SmartFiber will verify your phone numbers, users, and call routing. Training, on-site install, and porting will be scheduled at this time.
Step 2: Portal Configuration
SmartFiber will work with your account team and configure your VoIP Portal according to the previously completed Call Routing and User Guides. This will be conducted via video-web conference to insure all 'clicks' are defined and knowledge transfer is successful.
Step 3: Phone Installation
Our On-Site Technician will work with your team to connect devices to your local network (via Ethernet or WiFi) and confirm service. All devices arrive pre-configured and run over-the-top of your internet. Your firewall/security appliance may need to be updated to allow VoIP traffic onto your network.
Step 4: Number Port
Your telephone numbers will port from your current provider and your new phone system will be in production. Number ports are typically scheduled to cut-over at midnight on the day of port.
Step 5: Wellness Verification
After your phones have been in production for 72 hours a SmartFiber representative will reach out to insure the system is still performing as intended.
